      She's growing into a definite front pasture beauty!   A striking and beautifully-colored, black & white heifer from our great foundation cow, Calpat's Navidad, and our senior herd sire, CC Blue Warrior. Just look at that face —you couldn't paint a more elegant and flashy heifer and she appears to have inherited her dam's long and feminine body style and lovely horns.  All of her white areas are already showing speckling and roaning. Her name means "Jinglebell" in Spanish and it fits this elegant and vibrant heifer. Cascabel is a full sister to Navidad's outstanding 2005 heifer, PLR Chiquita Bonita and her new 2007 heifer, PLR LaBonita Blue. Cascabel has been exposed to CC PeaceKeeper, our Phenomenon son, starting in mid-December. (photo on 3-15-08)
